Engine Heat

I just got myexhast on today. As i was idoling at a light i noticed my temp was up to 216. As i drive it goes back doen to the low 180's and mid 190s, but when i stop and idol its jumps back up into te 204-217 range. I didnt mess with anything just took stock muffler off and aftermarket muffler on? I do need a oil change and my coolant does look alil lowbut not below min. Any thoughts or is this just normal? Just dont want the aftermarket exhaust to cause overheating in the future.

It's normal. Don't worry about it. Someone will be here in a minute to tell you exactly why it's normal.

How much u guys think it would cost to get 2 feet of tubing on and redo my bolton muffler? right now its not visible and sitting next to my tire! not the best spot and my fault just need to move it out so the heat goesout intsead of under the car.?

So 2 feet of tubing and maybe 30 min of labor for how much?
