Engine noise insulation?

Any way i can add stuff to muffle the engine noise more?

Wrap the whole eng in DynaMat


Edit: make sure you leave a hole for the Dipstick

lol....thats also good for gettin those nice warm temps in the winter when you wanna blow 200 degree air at your face!!!! ...just dont bother with the burning rubber smell coming from under the hood, thats normal with they dynamat mod!

well for the side of the firewall thats by the engine i dot think you can reall put anything out there.. as for behind the dash thats possible but alot of work.. i the engine really that annoying? lol it will work but like i said alot of work.. just line your whole car (which is still alot of work) and you wont hear tomuch, i could be wrong for the engine compartment about not having anything go back there but there i already inslation and what not back there

i do that too. but i usually end up using a lot of gas

acutally, i think my cat is bugging the hell out of me...its got this hissing noise sometimes, quite loud too when i hit 3krpm

wow, i wish my engine was louder. How can you complain out a 4 cyclinder bring to noisy? I want it to sound like a big block, but thats not gonna happen. So i guess intake+exhaust will be my route.

yea, well, i just like quiet cars. i dont want to hear the engine at all under 3k rpm :P but not gonna happen. at least i want to tone it down a bit in the cabin
