You need to give it up with this custom supercharger. (MP90)

It's garbage in comparison to the TVS 1320.

Years ago when I did the testing with Euthanasia (we're local to one another), it was a cheap alternative for me to make power over the m62. I was able to source and build the entire kit with Euthanasia for $700.

You'll be doing yourself and the car a disservice by dealing with him.

Spend the money in the right places.
If you wanna stay blown and make 300 whp on 91 octane, slap a TVS on it.
For more power add methanol or e85.

i wouldnt even run meth anymore. just a band aid really for not enough cooling. E85 or race gas, or be happy with what it makes on pump

not everyone has access to e85. a good water/meth kit and some maitinance and water meth isnt an issue.

we stopped offering it at the shop. industry has come a long ways since when we thought it a good alternative to e85.

I don't know of any places in Canada that actually sell e85.

there are 2 stations in bc, on an hour from me, and one 10 hours. our shop can purchase it in 55 gallon drums from the closest station, and we are building a couple cars in the shop specifically to run it (both 20b 3 rotor engines in excess of 1000hp), but its not practical for us for mainly street driven cars. e85 is also wildly expensive here, about another 50% the cost of premium. again, cheap for race fuel, not for daily use.

edit: in searching for the actual price i found out the closest station for e85 shut down just before christmas.

Yupp if I want e85 I have to buy it buy the drum at an inflated price per gallon. I'll be putting meth on my Cobalt when I get around to putting the 2.8 pulley on. Work with what you've got.

Unless your a full fledged track car methanol/water injection is an amazing option to have. Some people like to use their car to travel and need the freedom to fill up anywhere and also still be able to get gas mileage. So while having a secondary nozzle or 2 and and extra tank to deal with is not as nice/reliable as having the alcohol already mixed in your fuel as well as probably less cylinder cooling (if meth is injected far from combustion chamber) meth is still a good option even if it pales in comparison to E85. Essentially it is using the same mechanism as Ethanol to cool the charge and raise the octane, just relies on a separate, less precise, delivery method.

Meth does a better job of cooling because you inject it in the intake air stream so it has time to fully vaporize.
