no what i'm trying to say is, anything thats gonna go wrong with the gm stage 2, can be fixed with a better and more likely cheaper aftermarket part, so why not go custom in the first place

Useless?? I disagree. It's a safe 20+ Whp that retains a 100K mile powertrain warranty. Sure a custom kit will net more power , but it's rare to see a staged car pop a motor on a 3.06" pulley.

Stage2 SUCKS.......until people want warranty work lol.

i'm gonna go with the first 2 posts. I just had my car at the dyno and learned how humbling it can be. You probably won't net nearly what you think (to the wheels anyway). I'm thinking you've gained about 10 more hp.

yea i went today and the header downpipe and tranny mounts are in so tomo its just the axels and cutting the hole for the extra outlet.but guys i have a question... so when i went to the shop today my mechanic told me that the exhaust doesnt have a catalytic converter, this means its not a cat back correct? but on the slp website it says that it is a catalyst-back system doesnt that mean it is a cat back system or is catalyst sumthing different?? plzz help guys im terribly confused lol

"cat back" is just a general term for "exhaust" in our case, the said "cat back" starts after the downpipe regardless if the dp actually has a cat or not.

well if you want a cat you gotta go get a New DP with a cat on it. YOu can buy ones with Higher flow cats. If you have emmissions you will never pass without one and your check engine light should come on as well
