Just wondering what everyone paid to have their exhaust installed...

I did it myself with basic hand tools.

 

everything i have on my car i have done myself...a car is the easiest to install...if you know what you are doing

 

none do it urself

 

i believe mine was about 60 bucks or sumthin like that....buit thats because i took it to a custom garage whose owner i knew.....stealership quoted me 1000 to order and install the corsa...

 

nothing for me i bent my own pipes.

 

nothing..did it myself. its very easy 4 bolts and a hex saw.

 

anyone can install an exhaust if you have a hand saw and a wrench... i would NEVER pay to have one done, and neither should anyone else... this is pretty much the most basic install you can do, and anyone that CAN'T do this probably shouldn't mod their car... not being a dick, but it's a piece of cake and you'll feel better knowing that you put it on with your own hands... i'm sure someone in the area would be willing to help... if you were local to me, i'd show you how to do it in exchange for a beer!

 

You can do mine when i get my car or il get my cousin to help. If i get 0% APR, il be buyin all my mods like a month after i get the car
But do you need to lift the car or anything?

 

jack and 2 jackstands, handsaw, and a socket wrench

 

Ya I probably will do it myself since you do get more satisfaction out of it... ill just have to get some jackstands.

 

no lift, just jackstands or ramps... i used my fathers ramps to do it... let me know, i'll help you put it on

exhaust will be my first mod ive done at home :-)

 

you dont need jack stands, i never used em lol. all i used is a jack. and what even funnier i did my header and downtube while the car was one the ground and its lowered.

 

i did mine from the oil change pit at a Texaco lube. It helps to be in a car club.

 

hopatcong, huh? haha... i'm not too far off of 80 myself... i'm probably about half an hour or so away from you, let me know when you want to do it... if you have a garage we can do it whenever, otherwise preferably when it's a lil warmer out!


that's not funny... what's funny is when the car falls off the jack while you're under it...

keep a long story short, i would NEVER get under a car only on a jack to do anything besides just look around...

 

yeah ppl also tend to tell me im crazy, and most of the time i tend to believe it lol

yeah i prolly shouldnt be trusting a 2-ton jack thats as old as me huh? o well lol
