i think we need to get a bracket race and heads up race set up for this meet. everyone that shows up can race, if you don't want to you dont have to. pairing will be random. heads up will have no time trial runs. bracket will have atleast 1 run, possibly 2 runs depending on how many people will race.

 

I'd make the trip... it'd be cool to get to know more fellow CSS folx, no longer own a balt and don't mind parking out of the way.... hell I do that as a courtesy at the local meets.

But I'd like to get in on any road racing that might happen.

 

should start pm'ing bill hahn and donna from CA and aaron from turbotech and vince from trifecta.

also i think we should put together a plan to have some sort of brochure about the meet and everyone here like maybe one rep per state and have that rep take that brochure around to different dealers and ask them if they want to help sponsor the meet with a few bucks. this way we have more money and all they have to give would be like 100 bucks max and that would help us out.

this would pay for our shirts and stuff without anyone having to come out of their own pockets too much or at all if we get enough

on that note, i need help coming up with a design for the shirts, theres a site i can use to like add the design so you guys can see how it will look and post pics so people can say yes or no and make change suggestions. but i need a base design.

 

YEAH......GM will be MORE than willing to give away money in the middle of a Chapter 11. LOL

 

even the DSM nationwide meet lets in other cars lol, I think the pictures should mostly be of cobalts, that it should be mostly cobalts, but other ecotecs should be able to attend and enjoy, especially the IRL since they are powered the same as us older cobalt guys lol

I'm keeping my slow ass auto 2.4L away from the track though. I would love to show up just to drool over all your guys' SC's and TC's. You literally NEVER see balts above base model around here. It's ridiculous. Anytime I see one, it's like a miracle. Gah, I wish I had one. Maybe someday.

I'm also interested to find out if the date will interfere much with school. But as of now, I'm in!

You know what else we should do? since a lot of people tend to hate each other on this site, we should hold boxing matches. I think it would help with a lot of suppressed rage and therefore the site would be good again
