Farewell...

I haven't been on much in the last year or so, but I would like to thank everyone on these forums and say goodbye, as I won't be on much anymore. Thanks to this forum I was able to do a lot of work on my 06 ss/sc and 09 ss/tc. This place was an enormous resource to me, and I couldn't have done without. I am not very mechanically inclined, but this forum gave me the ability to pull off several projects and I learned quite a bit. After driving a Cobalt and lurking these forums for almost 7 years, its going to feel weird not owning one.

I traded in my tc on a 2013 Impreza 2.0i premium this weekend. I know I lost about 150hp, but I think I will live. Love it so far. I have no intentions of modding it in any way besides tint.... I say that, but we will see how long that lasts. I couldn't leave my Cobalts alone, and I blame all of you.. lol

Oh and if anyone in the KC area is interested in my stock wheels, sub, and downpipe.. pm me.

Good luck with the new car man, I'm sure you'll enjoy subaru forums as well and the epic CSS crap will always have a little spot in your heart

Nothing special, pretty incognito, reminds me of an old man car at times. I liked the limited wheels much better, but all the limited's had moonroofs. The moonroof subtracts about 2 inches from the headroom, with me being 6'4" my head was pretty close to the roof. Decided I didn't need a moonroof, and I could get wheels later. Not only that, but the 16" wheels rode smoother, I am guessing because of the extra sidewall. Love the way it rides. Compared to my balt it is a luxury vehicle, but obviously the handling and power aren't there. Guess you can't have your cake and eat it too.

Since these pics I got my windows tinted and removed that stupid PZEV decal from the back. Just need to order the Subaru front plate holder. I never had a front plate on my cobalt's for 6 years (illegal here in MO), got pulled over a couple times but never got a ticket. I figured I would be legal this time around then.
