Cardoamin site w/ 13.99 1/4 @ 95mph??

you never know to be honest...yeah it sounds far fetched, but I saw an RL @ HMP (1/8th mile track in Houston) last night run a 8.94 @ 79.04 mph. That's roughly a 13.8-13.9ish 1/4 time. I know he didn't have exhaust or an intake, the blower wasn't loud nor was his exhaust.

The ss/sc in stock form has the power/weight ratio to hit very low 14's in stock form. There's no doubt about that. However, the hurdle that all of are having a hell of a time overcoming is traction/wheel hop. Who knows, maybe he got a factory freak that's pumping 13 lbs boost stock and the raceway he runs at doesn't have an ice rink for a track. I'm still skeptical though.

A low 1.9 or 1.8 60' on drag radials (or slicks). Drag Radials & slicks take some MPH away at the top end but more than make up for it at the launch.
I ran 103-104w/ normal street tires (Stage I) and w/ the same mods ran .3 to .4 quicker but @ 100-101 mph with the drag radials.
Slicks are even worse. 117-119@mid-low 13's on street tires vs 113-115@low-low 12's on slicks.
Not saying he's telling the truth, just saying it's possible.

I wouldn't call complete bullshit on it right away - one of the Redline guys just ran a 13.95 on stock tires with only a little weight reduction with a bone-stock engine. Plus, like that SRT guy said (sorry, no disrespect, just clicked "reply" before I caught your tag), drag radials will help a LOT. Clownhair, who is one of the Redliners but posts over here, was explaining to me the other day what a good 60' and tires will do - drop your e.t. but your trap will be lower too. I'd still like to see a slip.

I've always felt that SS/SC's and RL's had pretty high traps and dyno #'s but below average 1/4 times.
