feel stupid asking this..

i have no idea why it hasnt come up in the 2 and a half years ive had my balt, but on my 06 ss/sc cobalt how do u get the rear seat to open up , thus allowing you to get to the trunk, they seem like u can do it? or can you at all, search engine and google arent helping much haha

Pop the trunk and look by where the base of the window is. There should be two black handles, one on each side i believe...give a tug and you'll hear a click. Seat thus released

open your trunk. look at top or trunk(not the trunk lid, but the INSIDE of the trunk) theres two levers you pull

open your tunk lid,look up under the shelf where your rear speakers are and you will find two latch handles to pull.

its weird u have to go in thru the trunk and theyre is a little handle u have to pull down and WHILE pulling down. push the seat open from the trunk... not stupid i had to ask also but i just called up a fellow balt owner. so yea dood its not a dumb question

haha you don't have to push the seat while pulling the lever....

be careful, my handles/hooks ripped off after a few times
they only attach to the trunk roof with tiny plastic clips
