final headlight/hid question

final headlight/hid question

finially got my depo headlights in.
im happy with the low beams light output, but i when i turn my highs on i want that **** lit up like a christmas tree. So my question is, is it odd or even do-able to order just HIDS for the highbeams?

h7 bulbs

Yes. You just order an H7 HID kit.

Why the **** are they doinf this? Pissing me off... Not suppose to be way higher on one side is it???
Yes i angled them. No matyer what i do they turn out like this
When up close they look even and good. Minus that z **** they do? Dont get that either. Why not flat straight? And then when i am quite a few feet away from an object they seperate like tht

There is only 1 adjuster on each light,
Correct? Theres not a horizontal one is there?

You need to go down on the driver side. They are not straight off cuz it's meant to give you more light and visabilty towards the side of the road that traffic isn't on. They are supposed to be stepped and the top part of the step should be even from side to side.

And i had 2 people flash me within 15 min apart. So i brought rhem both down.
I think their good now, ill need to go to back of walmart flat parking lot of somethinf to see again forsure.

How far away from the wall should i be vs height of the lighrs?

Adjusting projectors you should 30 ft from the wall on a flat surface. Measure from the ground to the CENTER of the projector itself. Subtract 2 inches from the center projector height and mark the on the wall. Adjust the top step to that point.

Example: say your projectors are 40 inches from ground to center of projector. Put the mark on the wall at 38 inches and put your top step there on both sides.

I dont have a tape measure, so ill use electricsl tape to mark it and my leg as measurement. for now.. Haha thanks

No problem. Make adjustments as you need if you can't see well or if people are still flashing you.

Btw, still got those old headlights or did they sell?

Yeah, Gen 4's are nice. The only thing is they are concentrated towards the middle, as you are seeing.

Once you get them aligned right, don't ever take them out. they won't ever go back in aligned the same >.<
