Finally got stage 2 installed.

Spring is finally here and after a couple of days driving the Cobalt in stock form i had the dealer install the stage 2 kit.I bought my SS/SC a week after xmas and put it in the garage till last Friday.I finally got to run it hard this past weekend and i am very impressed with the car all around.Handles great, runs like a scalded dog and turns heads everywhere. The Dealer charged me $150 to do the install. Now if the bastard who worked on it would have wiped off his greasy fingerprints it would be perfect!I'm gonna have to watch my ass or i'll end up with a truckload of speeding tickets. After listening to you guys talk it up all winter i finally get to experience this fine little car in all it's glory.Only problem is it attracts women and ********* alike.I had a guy at the local Sunoco tell me it would be a nice car if it was a Honda.I told him if it was a Honda i'd have to buy a purse to match.Im an old fart and it is nice to have all these young girls ask about my car.If only i was 18 again.Pics coming soon!

Congrats!
It sounds like your dealership knows what it's doing.
I'm currently looking for a dealership here in Indiana that #1 knows what the hell stage 2 is , and #2 wont charge me out the a$$ for installation.

Congrats! GM Stage 2 is fun and you'll like it. Later on though you'll want more.

Wow, $190 ain't bad! That's compared to the $425 one dealer wanted to charge me and the $515 the other one wanted.
I would really appreciate it if you could tell me where you are getting yours done at! I live in Fort Wayne but I will drive somewhere to get it done right even if it's 2-3 hours away.

Which dealer did you order yours through? If the dealer ordered theirs through GM, it's on national backorder. It might be a while. What they should of done is order it through their local GM ADI center (accessory distributor installer).

If you dont mind a little drive, lattof Chevrolet Inc in Arlington Heights, IL has 15 of them in stock as of yesterday. They are not an authorized ADI center but it looks like they are a performance dealer. If they are keeping that many they might know how to install them correctly.
