at our local dealer, or one of them, they have a vic red one with polished wheels. it looks sweet!

what options did you get with it?

 

Frickin EH! now get out there and lay the smackdown.

 

i suggest you have a dealer find one you want...then ask another dealer to look up that same car (via the vin number) and then tell them to beat that price. see how low you can get it without pissing the dealers off. that's what i did. i got a good price for mine doing that although i bought mine at the end of the season.

 

I am getting one hell of a deal on this car. Looked at about 4 others before this one. It as every option, high polish wheels, pioneer sound system, red leather inserts, side airbags, But, it doesn't have the recaro seats or the slip differential. But, there is one with those 2 things, but its $2000 more and 2 hours away, where this one is 5 min away. Plus i can do without those two things. I test drove it and I am in love. Ever since i saw this thing for the first time my stomach churned with envy lol. Its like a love story. hahaha

I love it all my friends have slow hondas and they think they are so fast. Now im going to blow past them with the a/c on as i turn my XM station with steering wheel controls, as they push their sad completely stripped down, no ac, no back seats, no power anything, V-tec into gear and let their foldgers coffee can muffler sing!

Got one friend with a tC ...who believes its faster than a ferrari, cant wait to show his ass up.

lots of poeple said to get the g85 before i bought my car....you will regret it. i though, ehh it can't be that much of a difference. after awhile i told myself i might as well go all out...so i go the g85 and i so relieved that i did. the recaros are awesome. oh yeah the lsd works pretty well too. to me, it was worth it.


it should only be 1500 more, not 2000.

 

I dont want to sound like a complete retard, but what is the G85 package? Is that just the performance package with the short throw, and seats and LSD? or is it engine ****.

Yeha you are right its 1500 more.

the difference between my car and the balt is like 6500, the package will bump it to 8G's thats just too much for me. Ive only saved 4K and my dad is putting up the rest, plus I still owe him 10k on my last car.....

yeah its the performance package if it is an 06 it will have the recaro seats and the limited slip differential.


never heard about the short throw shifter in there though...maybe its an 07 thing.

 

yeah, its an 06, they must have changed the shifter on the 06's from the 05's because i drove a 05 with a performance package and a diff. shifter. I figured the shifter was part of the package.

But im still a noob when it comes to balts so thats the only reason i said it.

and congradulations I have a red 07 ss/sc with g85 but without the recaros, its nice youll love it! =)

cool and congrats. Honestly if you aren't going to be autoxing the G85 isn't that big of a deal. The LSD only works in the twisties.

Congratulations! I remember that feeling. I went into my local dealership and ordered my SS/SC without even seeing or test driving one. At that time even the dealer didn't even know what I wanted or what the SS/SC was. They had to call GM Canada to find out more info on it. A couple months after placing my order, I was in heaven!
