Boom goes the spark plug.

You think that spark plug can hold up for long doing that?

i think what they were saying was it does cut down on spark plug life but not by much

by any chance does anybody know which fuse runs power to the coils

if you google this it shows people using these on lamborghini's with great results. they are increasing their plug gap fro .8 to 1.0

I'm just going to be the bad guy here. This looks like the spark is jumping to upper portions of the the plug. I don't think this would help much.

I'm gonna say waste of money.

I'm thinking this wouldnt work for us anyway as we use coil packs, not a cap and rotor.

It works on coil packs.

It jumps around until the gap is opened up and the power is being focused on one plug

spark is going to travel the path of least resistance. in this case it is to the base of the plug. in the cyl it should be ok. Amps could be an issue as Omni said. i dont really see much if a gain with this though. id love to see some dyno results

Correct me if I'm wrong but from the description it sounds like a large capacitor with a fuse shoved in the end of it. Really shoddy looking packaging, who puts an exposed fuse on a component that's going to be exposed to the elements? Curious to see if the guru will stop in here.

I vote crack pipe.

the gas already detonates.... why do you need to discharge so much more electricity into the engine?

The idea behind this can't work that well. Pulsing the power through a capacitor on a single old-style coil may work, but on coil packs where one fuse powers all of them I can't see this being reliable.
