First thing I should do to my ss/sc with a grand

So I'm getting a ss/sc around the end of june and I should have atleast an extra $1000-$1500 saved up for mods right off the bat.

So what would you guys suggest?

Have the dealer install stage 2 and add it to the price of the car and use the rest for intake and exhaust

It's your clutch you have to worry about.

I had a faulty one (leaking slave cylinder) at 5,000 miles. Dealer replaced the entire clutch under warranty.

But if you go Stage 2 (installed by dealer a must and is highly recommended) and plan to race it a lot, get an upgraded clutch.

Spec 2 + seems most popular ...

Another vote here for stage 2 mate. After that get cooling mods, then traction mods, then intake, then exhaust.

A grand will do a lot. Go stage 2 and intake. Anything left over get a Torque Dampener. Then save up for an Exhaust. Let the drop be one of the last things you do.

Those that said pay the payments I don't really need to worry about it, my parents are covering that for the first year and then I'm taking over (grad present kinda) besides the payments are super low I'm getting the car for about 11k

I'm graduating this year also and I wish my parents would buy me an SS/SC! ZOMG lucky! But yeah I agree with everyone - go stage 2 then work from there.
