So far the game isn't that bad, can't get the LNF to corner right though. Every turn I take it either pushes through or the ass slides out and how does a Fiesta get thrown into a race with lotus and ferraris? I had to throw on evey bolt on and it still wouldn't keep up.....got pretty pissed at that.

It was an A600 multi class event and I was an A600. First time it ever happened to me, usually if I am at the top I smoke the **** out of everyone. I even messed with traction control thinking I was spinning off the line too much, went with the AWD conversion and a new gear box and still they whoop my ass. I just went with a different car so the class group got lowered, balt wouldn't even keep up with them.
Ya it's bullshit that the game auto upgrades every computer to the top of the class. I mean I guess that's realistic because that's what you would do in real life, but it's still annoying
Dillema.
Using component cables with the GEN1 XBOX.
IN standard mode, non HD, the SOUND WORKS!
When I switch it to HDTV in the settings, and switch the little switch on the connector to HDTV, change the source on the TV to COMPONENT (Same connector as the source AV2 for standard) the sound doesn't work...

Tyler, you should have to move the red and white audio cords to correspond with the component cables since the green, blue and red cables are video only. There should be a audio input below/next to the component plugs that go with that component input Sorry if I'm insulting your intelligence on this, just trying to help you brainstorm, in the end I dont know how the inputs on your tv are arranged, but I've always had to do this. I'm just guessing its this because if you have sound in normal mode your Xbox audio has to work ok, it should be plug placement issue
Are you using the same component cable you were having issues with? Might be a bad cord.
Hey tommy, you were right. IMAGINE THAT
THe placement of the cables for this made it strange and that's why I was unable to fix an easy problem.
Hmmn.. Who woulda' knew?
LOL
Thanks

It makes a big difference going from yellow to component. I used my wifes Wii for netflix the othernight and had to turn it off because it looked so shitty, I just watched it on my laptop instead.
