Gauge Pod + AEM Wideband = Fitment Issues

I know that everyone knows that the gauge pod needs to be opened up for the AEM wideband to fit. My question is what is the best/proper way to do it? Thanks for your help in advance.

I had heard from some people the the AEM UEGO Wideband is too big for the gauge pillar. Idk, just figured I'd ask people who have them

What color Interceptor do you have? And do you have any night time pics? I can't decide if I want the blue or red
