to get or not to get one
Hello,
new to the forums, so...hello !
Looking into getting on of these beauties...I have a 4 door car now, pretty useless most of the time. I like the mpg that the 2.2 and the 2.4 get. If I get into modding, it's gonna be fuel saving stuff. But probably, down the road, I will get into the "there is never enough power" stage as well.
I am driving a Regal now, LS, but still >205 horses with 215 lb torque. Is the stock 2.2/2.4 gonna match up with that, at least a bit? Please keep in mind that the Regal is also much heavier..
I am looking for a coupe, not SS or sport, too much $$$ for a toy, but not bone stock either.
Bucket seats, sunroof, at least 16"...btw, can you go to 17" or 18" without modifying the spedo?
How is the stock premium audio, is it worth the money, or I am better of with one of my own?
Is it possible to install a 7" touch screen it in (will it fit)?
I am getting all excited already.
Thanks and looking forward to this forum !!!

no matter what car you buy you will always regret it because here will always be another cor or model that costs a little more but you get something different. the way i see is figure out what you need now, then add a few options (speed, comfort, or whatever you think you might want later). what ever car has what you want now plus a little more that is the car you should get. it should take a little longer for you to get tired of whatever you buy.
I am looking at MPG. Otherwise, I would buy a truck tomorrow. In Toronto, gas is ~$1.20/liter. This makes it around $4.60/gallon. So the SS/turbo with around 30 is the same as my Regal - no gain.
Does the turbo require premium too?
I am talking about MPG because I drive at least 50.000KM/year, I did 60.000 last year (37.500 miles).
If you add the gas for a three year period, you will see how much that adds to...
