Getting back in the game??

well some of you know i sold my lnf a couple months ago and im being patient on getting another car, so for the time being i have an 03 rsx type s. fun little car but i just stumbled across this cobalt for sale in my area and im thinking about checking it out. only thing wrong with it is it has a cyl 4 misfire. i was going to swap the coil packs and see if the misfire moved. then i was going to check the dip stick to see if its milky or not. possibly check the plugs as well. what else do you guys think?? im hoping its not losing compression or a ringland is band. what do you guys think?

It's crazy how cheap some of these go for. I understand that it has an issue but if it is just a coil pack that seems like a steal.

well guys went and looked at the cobalt yesterday and sad to say but cyl #4 had no compression at all. the other 3 were pretty good. all around 170-180. but idk why theres no compression, either hole in the piston or valve spring broke im thinking. sucks but oh well. i think im gonna find myself an awd 4 door as a beater right now with winter knocking on the door soon. maybe a b6 A4 or a B5 s4 not sure yet we will see
