Better grounds do affect all those components. How much is the issue.

Tho making my own set for my Civic did seem to have a small effect.

I saw an increes on my civic too but then again the civic only had two batedic ground wiers on it. The cobalt ss/sc has a lot more grounding to it and I think you would not see any inprovment with upgrading the ground wiers. I am not sure about the other cobalt models though.

don't buy... rather a bad scam

Ok...
here's the deal. I had a private dealer contact me (via .com) and ask to prototype grounding wires on my SS/SC... Unfortunatly, he took one look at the engine, the battery in the trunk, and the grounding system in place and essentially said 'screw this, it's too difficult to do well for a consumer market'. So, he paid me for gas to get there and i went home a little disappointed (he has done this for numerous imports before, and sells them online). So, I saw these pop up on ebay and figured, what the heck, they're additional wires for gounding, they can't hurt, right? wrong... these didn't even fit on the negative terminal in the front of the car (the frame) or any other areas that they're supposed to fit on. Oh well, its only 20$ wasted, and it would have been a great deal if they actually worked. Basically, this guy sells them from a company in the UK, with generic instructions, and leaves you to your own devices to attach it. Customer support very low. Again, grounding's great, but this kit doesn't work. The wires are even all the exact same length, showing how much thought went into it...

sorry for the bad news all, feel free to PM me if you disagree, or simply slay me on this thread...
