so im going to the dealer a second time. The car i still making that noise and i finally got a chance and took it to a friend who has worked with superchargers before. He made the funnest face when i poped open the hood and he heard the rocktumbler sound. it was kinda like WTF kind of sound is that???!!!! he was so scared of the sound he even turned on his car just so he could make sure his wasnt doing it and that it was something my car was just doing. he said it must be a chevy thing??!!! so tomorrow its going to go back and get the sound checked on it again.

 

i had a tech check mine out and he tried telling me it was normal. I then said well let's listen to another one on the lot. He then said that that would be pointless, cuz my stage 2 would make mind sound different

 

its stupid because the tech i take it to wanted to open up and actually find the faulty part which would have been fine with me but chevys word on it is "just replace it" does anyone know if its replaced with a new part or referbished part?

 

If its on the supercharger it'll be a new part. I doubt they have a stocklipe of SCs that they harvest good parts from.

 

So doesnt everyone notice when you go to the dealer and you start out with one problem theres always a second problem or third problem that happens. well my xm is saying on station 20 21 and 22 updating xm and then it will do nothing and go back to the previous channel. xm says its hardware. now every installer knows that if its just certain channels its usually an xm problem. so im going to have the GM reps take a look at it because xm's customer service sucks. i am glad i have a good dealership near me.

 

There is ap ost on the sc sound in the problem area with a link to a sound clip. This sound is very common and almost every ss s/c has it.
