Thumbs down The Good and The Bad

Hey everyone I'm new to this forum; so here goes my first post. The bad news first, this #&%$@ with no license rear ended my car about a week and a half ago. Luckily I had uninsured motorist/full coverage/gap insurance the California "usual". So its all covered and taken care of. Well the good news is that because of the accident I decided to upgrade to the SS Supercharged from the regular SS I had. So tomorrow at 10am I will be picking up my brand new cherry red SS Supercharged.

Here's a picture of the damage of the totaled SS:

Id figure he was traveling at the speed of 45-50mph when he noticed me; down hill on a overpass his brakes marks were pretty long so the actual speed at the time of impact is hard to know.

You can see the damage is more extensive then just the rear end by the warping of the side panels.

Well congratulations. I guess it all worked out in the end.

Post pics after you pick her up. Cherry would be a good name for her.

I hope you know that your own insurance is gonna be sky high now.

you should take the ass to court and sue him for all he's worth... pain and suffering FTW.

My insurance wont go up... last time they backed into my car and they took off and my monthly payment dropped from 130 to 110, so now that i have the ss/sc they upped my insurance a bit to 143 which im tied to till june of next year... but im no insurance expert so lets hope it doesn't.

The only time the rates increase here in colorado is when it costs them money, if you take the guy to court and get money out of him on your own they wont go up, if it costs them money they raise em a little, if you caused the accident, it sky rockets.

Thats here in colorado anyways. Changes from place to place and from company to company.

sup ivan, glad you FINALLY joined the site. you're gonna love the ss/sc a lot more man. once i get my camera we'll have to do a photoshoot.

it all depends on your insurance but my insurance doesn't go up unless it costs them money and it's my fault. if i'm not at fault and my car gets totaled it doesn't cost me a dime more.
