Good Bye Cobalt :(
a string of recent unfortunate events led to me selling my cobalt.
first i snapped an axle at the track
, then i had some gay trans issues that alot of you know all too well.
Then it was stolen right out of my driveway. (i wasnt home to smack a bitch)
the police recovered it a few days later. there was soda spilled all over, the tranny was shot (i think thats why they dumped it) and they scraped up the driverside of the car.
the car had no warranty due to my mods. the insurance covered the exterior damage.. and i was stuck with the bill for the tranny.
at that point i threw my hands up and said enough. i sold the car at an auction. the price it fetched was pathetic.
little did i know my luck was about to turn around. i called matt at tune time early monday morning looking for an ls1 camaro in good shape. he said "i know of 2".. i agreed to call him later in the week about the details.
roughly 45 minutes later, i was going to met my old lady for lunch at p.j. whelihans, and i saw a beautiful black cobra sitting at an unnamed dealership. i thought to myself, it can't hurt to look
i never made it to lunch.
about 6 hours later, i had my g/f follow me home in my dads pt cruiser (thats what i was driving monday)
I am now the proud owner of a 2003 mustang cobra.
i loved my cobalt. i had some great times with/ in that car. and i hope whomever has it now will be able to say the same.
if this 2008.5 turbo cobalt rumor has any truth to it, i may rejoin the cobalt community in early '09. until then, i will come on when i can, and help out who i can.
pics and vids of my new toy will be posted eventually.

i am pleased. i finally have a car that pins me to the seat a little bit. nice goat
definitly. i want another crack at the s/c civic. he smoked my cobalt at the track

he ran 13.2 or 13.3 and i ran 13.7 almost a year ago.
he had drag radials.. and my only mods at the time were 42's 2.9", tuning, and a catback.
it was a cool night, i beat an sti that night though.. he ran a 14.4
did you even run him with your cobalt?

wow 17k...I need to go buy cars in the states! I absolutely love the 02 cobras and up. Sooo sexy and fast even stock! Sorry to hear all that crap with your Cobalt though...but now you gotta be happy with what you're driving!

I think I'm just about done for a long time with modding. Intake, FMIC, TBE, MBC, Fuel pump, and getting flashed on Saturday. Should be good for around 280-290awhp, good enough for solid 12's too haha. I was gonna go turbo swap, but with all the issues I had with the Cobalt trying to make more power, I think I'll just take it easy on the Evo.

its not perfect, there are a couple problems and a ding or 2 but i couldn't be happier. i got alot more car for my money this time.
