Was this a good deal?

First time posting,

I just bought a 2006 Cobalt SS S/C Stage 2 for $19,000. It has 1,500 miles on it. The previous owner bought it in July, and then 2 months later found out he was being deployed(military). Does this sound like it was a good deal? It seemed like it to me.

I was also hoping if anyone had a good link to a more detailed description of what the "stage 2" modification does.

Any help or advice is appreciated.

Thanks!
-Travis

that's a good deal, provided the car is in good shape... "stage 2" to sum it up means more power vs. stock

Sounds like his getting deployed worked out in your favor.
Welcome to the site and enjoy your new Cobalt.

He may have been a member. He took great care of it, and seemed into the mods, and whatnot. Thanks for the feedback!

Welcome to the site and yea you got yourself a good deal. For more info on the Stage 2 kit, you can go to www.crateenginedepot.com, they have a description of it there. The kit includes a smaller pulley, belt, 42.lb injectors, and a flash for the pcm. Takes hp up to 245, not sure on the tq. exactly.

I got my '06 with 6100 miles on it for 19,000. Id say that was a good deal. Mine came with the stage 2 and GMPP Exhaust. Mine was in good shape. Really small scuff on the one wheel and a fine scratch here and there. It is gonna get like that, what can you do.
