Yes, I have a better idea, if you are truly serious about getting one. And if you do decide to get it, msg me through the website...I think they *might* give me a few dollars as a "bird dog" fee, as I just bought its black "sister" car.

There is a silver SS/SC w/the limited slip diff that was recently advertised for $16988 here in Georgia, very close to the Atlanta airport. This is a new car that has about 1800 miles on it, I think. You need to call them and ask about it. If you can negotiate a FULL DEAL, including having them send you IN WRITING your FINAL drive away price, it would be a better deal than the used car you are considering.

VIN of this vehicle is 1G1AP14P567731092. Options on it are XM, Side airbags, sunroof, performance package. You can look up the sticker by using the GM site www.gmbuypower.com, and searching on cars in the 30291 ZIP code.

The ad says they would only honor the price til Dec 31 2006, but you can try to see if they will still hold to it. The car has been on their lot a long time. And it has high miles for a new car. And it is missing the sunroof switch cover. And its missing floormats (they have to fix that kind of thing). Still, this is better than a used car with nearly 30K miles....

I would arrange financing thru a 3rd party, like a bank or credit union. Forget about trading something in, if you do have a trade, you should sell it yourself. One way plane tix to Atlanta are cheap.

URL of dealership is www.chevyatlanta.com

They still have the special up at http://www.chevyatlanta.com/site/spe...t=newvehiclead

Damn, kbb must be way off on the private value of the '05 2.0. Site said mine was worth $19.3k with my options and 26000 miles.
