I have some good news and some bad news...

Heres the good

I'm ordering my Black SS with XM,Sunroof,Sidecurtains,G85 today!!!
I'm thrilled its about time...

Bad news..
I'm doing it becuase the Manager and my friend whos my salesman too along with 2 different people at GM... told me... that if I want a fully loaded Cobalt SS ... aka with G85 that I would have to order it by weeks end at the LATEST or it cannot happen due to the limited nature in which they are building the SS's with G85.

So there ya go if anyone want one go order it now...

just cause you can order it doesnt mean that you'll get it

i ordered mine at the end of march and they cannot give me a guarantee on a build date or when i will recieve the car

That was my point.... anyways, like I was saying if you dont order it in the next few days you wont get it. What you said just confirms my point.

That middle of June date is when they stop Making the cars June 17th I beleive... If you already ordered your car you should more than likeley get it... as long as it is ordered like today or yesterday.

Chevy told me that Production of the 2006 models is starting late June and therefore all dealers will be getting notice to stop ordering 2005 models VERY SOON... she hinted maybe this week. Just to let everyone know

As long as I'm clear on this, you mean that if you want a 2005; order within the end of this week. You are not saying, however, that the G85 Performance package is only available as a limited edition item till the end of this week. As in it is only available on the remaining 2005's to be ordered and not an option as a 2006?
