Question Goodbye old Cobalt, hello 08 T/C model?

Just curious how many of you loyal Cobalt people are drooling over the new 08 model and thinking of saying good bye to your old car and hello 2008 Chevy Cobalt T/C?

I don't know how to get a vote thingy up on here, (thats what happens when you sit on your ass for 3 months of sick time) so moderators if you have the ability to add a voting thang on this thread that would be hella cool.

I know if I get on the oil rigs here soon and pay off some debts I will definatly be turning over my good old girl for a new 260HP Cobalt ASAP..

Can I hear a gimme gimme mooooo powa and maybe moooo speeding tickets and bad cop no donut yell???

Another no. I'm looking towards the new camaro. I bought my SS/SC as daily driver with zip, not to be a beast. I have 96 Z28 for that.

Interesting thoughts so far.. Don't get me wrong I love my 2.4L and have done quite a bit to her but right now as far as I'm concerned she needa a new paint job (my town has not been gentle on my paint and car)

I love the look of the Cobalt and really think its a solid little car. Now if a turbo was available (maybe it already is?) for the 2.4L and you don't have to sell a kidney I would go for the turbo 4 my car..

Sorry but heres a dumb question, I probably know the answer lol.. What is flaming and why would that be done regarding this thread? Remember it may be a dumb question

I already put too much work in my car as is, plus I'm already turbo. Maybe jack the wheels and the brakes but that's about it

I'll be keeping my ss/sc even though the new t/c is really tempting. My 'balt is my baby and it wont be going anywhere for a long long time. Besides I might decide to the the turbo mod to mine that people are talking about and that would be insane

All I want is the Brembo's and the new suede seats for my 05 , I dont really ever plan on getting rid of my 05 ...so definately no plans on getting a 08 . Im finishing my 94 Z and my next purchase will be a 09/10 Camaro SS or Z28 , whatever their gonna call the one with the LS3 .

I as well would like to keep my old 2005 cobalt SS/SC, i prefer superchargers, i also like that GM didn't limit torque as much on my ss like its going to be on the LNF. Good luck having an 08 and getting power out of bolt ons without a tune.

My car is only 8 months old and I don't even have 6k on it, so I've hardly even driven it yet!

So as nice as it is, the TC doesn't interest me (especially since I had Stage 2 installed).

I just have to sort out our SC's crappy clutch issue ... and then I'm golden!
