Got my car back today!
Well I went to pick my car up today and it looks great. I couldnt believe it. Total repair bill was a whopping $10,900. Car drives and handles fine. They even fixed the front bumper misalignment that was from the factory!
Another plus. When I took my rear bowtie off I scratched my decklid and I asked the guy if he could take care of it for me. Well he messed it up, so they are painting my decklid for free. So I guess im gonna take the wing off and get the holes plugged or whatever and get the whole trunk painted and debagded for FREE. Kickass!
No need to post any pics cuz the car looks the same as it did before.

Yeah I'm actually very pleased with it. They did get my headliner kinda dirty which is understandable. Im gonna use some duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint and color it charcoal anyway.

Should have got a new car, IMO.
$11,000 worth of damage? I'm guessing it's now got a salvage / rebuilt title, yes? Have fun selling it, the value just dropped like a ton of bricks.
Just my $0.02, though.
Now that it's back, go have some fun though!

the fact is, and I know this because a friend of mine owns a body shop,
Most vehicles that are recked, never get marks against their title. It depends on weather the insurance company reports it on the title, and they usually dont. You should see some of the cars that come in there, and are sold on dealers lots as used. I have personally checked some of their car fax reports, and have yet to see one of them actually reported.
Flood damage or fire damage is always reported, most accidents are not, unless the insurance company totals the car out, then its reported.

Yeah tell me about it... It would only be a salvage title if the car was totalled and then bought back from the ins company.

Nice! I know the feeling.. that first day you get to drive it again is AWESOME.
Denooyer's bodyshop does good work. It's the *********** in the service department you want to avoid.
Congrats on getting it back though! Did you get my text last night?

you dont know what your talking about do you? If the insurance company is reputable by any means believe me they will report it onto your carfax..I got in a fender bender some old guy hit my back bumper and they reported it as my car being damaged by side impact crash... Its the law to report it so why wouldnt they??
