Hail Storm

I just watched a damn thunderstorm with dime size hail hammer on one month old cobalt 2.4. I heard that hard object hitting a metal sound. I hope she made it through. Hopefully the coat of wax on her helped in some way. At least the cars white so it hides a lot of defects. Wish the Cobalt luck, would ya'll. Its still a baby

Good luck, man. I hope she pulls through.

On the other hand, maybe its time for a cf hood and trunk anyway.

insurance will be a bitch to you. We had hail damage on our house, 1 year later, our only claim was the hail damage, they finally fixed it and dropped us. insurance is gay

When I lived in Texas I kept 2 body pillows and 3 normal sized pillows along with 3 old comforters. Whenever it was supposed to rain hard with the possibility of hail, I COVERED the car with them, never once got a ding on my old Cavalier.

I wanted it protected because, like others have said, INSURANCE IS A BITCH...

Hummm I never ever had problems getting insurance claims on cars.

I had a 1995 Camaro brand new. A year later someone had hit the front bumper probably while it was parked. Went to State Farm and got a check instantly for over $2000. I cashed the check and never got the bumper fixed, they said I had that right to do that.
One year in October we had a bad hail storm and the car had a bunch of dings. Got another check from State Farm on that one and kept the money.

Now I have Geico and haven't had a claim yet.

State Farm is the best by far. I would not choose anything else. I always had no probs with my insurance.

I had State Farm and only had one hail-related claim. I think mine had more to do with the claims adjuster than anything. At the time we had a two-car garage and they wanted to know why my car wasn't in it. 3 cars + 2 garages = 1 car out in the hail. Held it up for about a month fighting with them, they finally came through but it was a fight.
