i'd like to know that too, i have one at my parent's house, but what about putting the pulley back on? i had a friend with a S/C solara and he used the 3 arm puller to take off and a rubber mallet to re-install.

yeah, it slid on by hand about 1/4" then the rest of the way tapped it on doing laps around the edge with a rubber hammer. took a while but it worked. i'm just not sure that's the best thing to do tho, but i'd like to know if it can be done.

there is a special kind of puller you have to use, the 3 jaw one will just bend the pulley. you dont have to use a press, i just used it because i had access to one.

There is a possibility of bending the stock pulley with the 3 jaw puller. Again its a POSSIBILITY. So who knows, I dont know anyone who has tried it.

yeah but the stock TRD pulley is slightly smaller than ours i think, so it wouldn't bend as easy. i believe it is a 3" pulley they start with and he went to a 2.6".

i don't care that much about the stock pulley either so we'll see.

if it gets stuck, cut it on an angle with a grinder, then put a screwdriver in the slot and tap it until it comes off
