Headlight Covers
Headlight Covers
Does anyone here have those AVS full headlight covers or the Ventshades? Im looking into getting them but I wanted to know if the visiblity of them are ok. Like at night when you are driving or does it really restrict the light? Also, during the day, will these be a tight restriction on the turn signal lights or will they still be visable?
Plus, any problems with the cops?

Since everyone is ignoring you, I had some of these on my 1985 Mustang GT back in 1990. Yes, they do cut down on light for driving, use your fog lights. sometimes the attachment method can be a problem after a few years of use, plan on loosing one at least every 3-4 years. Do they look cool, on an '85 'stang, yes. On a Cobalt, probably make it look real mean like a wasp. Suggest to not use in winter, it seems that in spring when it gets warmer, the formed lexan wants to relax its curves and flatten out, also salt is scratchy to them.
I had taillight covers, with either the use of clear plate or smoked plate for the lic. plate. The last reason I gave up on all this? Some JA not only STOLE the taillight covers...they STOLE the red/org/clear LENSES right off my taillights. Had to go to a junk yard and get new taillights.
I did get a couple complaints. Cops and other drivers alike pretty much saying even my brake lights were hard to see, much less the lights just being on.
