Yeah there's only the 8k option though. I mean I could always switch the 8k out down the road if I wanted.

i got my depo headlights from modern preformance. No hids, and tbh im happy with the light output ATM. I will be gettingh hids soon, but im in no rush. will be a summer time thing.

also i paid $250 for them shipped to me in canda, not even 2 months ago

ill take the extra time, maybe spend a little more but get 5k hids all the way around. the dark blue is just meh + for all we know those are cheap bottom line hids that dont last worth a ****

It's a good deal, I bought the same setup before my retros. Everything comes pre wired and I had no problems with the HIDs.

I have the Depo headlights from Modern Performance in my SS, the fitment is pretty terrible. I have Gen 1's from ebay in my LS and they fit great, only problem with them is the lenses are cloudy and look like ****.

I have black depo lights too, very clean looking. They have a little more chrome than what I was expecting but they look sharp. Fitment is okay but I can't seem to get my passenger's side light to point straight.

Depo's look real clean!!

I just got a set of the depo projector headlights and they look amazing! I also put a set of ddm hid's that are a 5k temp at 55w. Bright as all Hell and look factory, the best appearance upgrade I've made for my car so far! Also for the wiring, it is simple as can be, it is all plug and play; it uses the ground from the stock headlight wiring harness so no need for splicing or tampering with electicals. Ill attach some pics of the look here soon.

You got 55w? Im gunna pm you in a month or so to ask how everything is holdig up. And did you get hi and low bulbs? How long is the gap inbetween when you switch to highs?

All things ive kinda slowly been looking into. So im interested in how it goes for you

Well I have actually had them on my SS for a little over a month now. I was initially worried about how hot the 55w burn but so far it has help up very nicely and I look forward to see how they hold up years to come. What are you asking when you say, "how far is the gap when you switch to highs" ? When I switch to highs it is a broad span of light that hit up nice and high. I did have to adjust a little though in order to get the right level achieved. To be frank though I am still not sure if they are at the right height. I am just not sure what measurements need to be reached for accurate distance without blinding people. lol

So you have hids in the high and low beam?

I was told that because the high/low are seperate bulbs all together. There would be a delay when flipping the switch from low to high. Leaving you in black for ... ( unknown amount of time while the bulbs heat up, 1,2,3,4,5 seconds i dont know )

Depo headlights are not really known to last years and years, the lense are junk thats not news, the projectors have reportedly melted on a few people with hids. But the style and price that keeps them selling. They are priced nicely and look awsome IMO ilove mine. Better than galos by a long shot. Again , IMO

55w i dont need. Ill be fine with 35w, we do grt hot summers,
Ill avoid that potential issue.

Its the delay from low to high im worried about

How i was told to aim my depos/projectors is.
Back 30 ft off a wall, measure from the ground to the center of the projector, then go to the wall and And aim the light beam 2 inchs lower than what you previously measured.

No i kept the halogens for the Brights because I didnt want a delay. If logic lends me right I would say there is a delay for HID's in the brights because HID's take a second to gas up anyways. Yea...with summer coming soon to Vegas I hope the constant 100 degree weather doesn't assist in the melting of any hardware in my headlights but I guess I will run that road when I get there. lol
