Just wanted to let you all know that the 05 Cobalt SS/SC Concept (black one) is for sale on Craigslist. Figured this would be the best place since it can't go in the classifieds. And btw it's been wrecked.

 

a guy on my fb bought that car months ago and if I can remember correctly, it was stolen.

Well it was just listed on Craigslist yesterday.

 

If it were stolen the person who stole it would be pretty stupid to try and sell it.

Uh ya a guy on my Facebook bought that already. Cops said it was stolen.

 

So it was stolen from your friend?

 

No when he bought it he tried to get paper work on it and it came up as a stolen car

 

So then why does he still have it? A stolen car is seized by the police when it's found.

They don't just say "Well we can't title it because the VIN comes up as stolen. Sorry. You can keep it though."

 

All I know is that he posted it on FB after he bought it and said the cops said it was stolen and he was going to try to get his money back. Idk who owns it now but last I saw, some guy bought it.

Well then apparently the guy doesn't have it anymore. I'm trying to find the guy who bought it. I just remember seeing it on Facebook a while back.

On a side note though that rear bumper and exhaust setup is pretty neat even the wing looks good lol. Prolly just a scammer repositing it

 

Or maybe the guy that bought it gave it back and got his money back. But idk. He never posted to say what happened with it. I tried finding it but I can't remember the guys name

If I remember correctly, the guy posted the ad before he bought it and it was priced exactly the same and was worded exactly the same. Spare head in the trunk and the front needs repair. That was over 6 months ago. He bought it, took it home and when he went to see about registering it they told him it was reported stolen over a year ago and the came and took it. Sounds like this is a scam by probably the same person who scammed him. He was over in Maryland I think
