help with 07 ls

i was pulling out of my girlfriend's drive and i noticed a wet spot. i got out and looked and it was fresh so i decide to pull my car a bit more out and there is more i opened the hood and looked and i saw that the on the passenger side ax el there was a bit of fluid. i got under the car and noticed some more so i stuck my had there and it was clear. what could be the problem? it was not rained and i did not have the ac on.

Seriously, folks.

Was the front windshield defogger on? That essentially turns on the A/C to dehumidify the air it blows onto the windshield. Same effect.

Other than that I suppose it could just be water that accumulated somewhere from either a puddle, rain from as much as a couple of days ago, or if you washed your car even a couple of days ago.

Water isn't picky about where it hides and waits. If her driveway is on any sort of a slope it would cause the water to run downhill and find a way to the ground.

ok thanks i did have the defogger on. i did not know that it did that.

Yeah, it's just water from the A/C. Selecting the windsheild defogger automatically turns the A/C on.
