Help Asap

after going to many shops everyone wants from 300-500 bucks to install the 3" pulley... i am going to do it myself... is there anything i have to look out for also can i use a 3 jaw pulley puller ? THANKS

as long as you have the rite puller then its about a 10min job

use a puller like this

They used a cobra pulley puller on mine, just get a pulley puller, take the blower off, and take off the pulley.

ok... well i figured out that its only 4 bults holding it on and i gotta unplug a few hoses... my friend has a 3 jaw pulley puller this will do the job fine ?

yeah.. i don't think the normal 3 JAW puller will work without fin up the pulley. 'd spend the money on a billetflw one or find someone in your area that already has and give them a few bucks to rent it

idk cause some people are telling me a regular 3 jaw will work and some are saying it won't does anyone know for sure that a 3 jaw will work ?

if you don't mind, use it. But your gonna need a new pulley if you evr want to go back stock

I'm getting my pulley installed this Sunday with the ZZP pulley puller. My friend said he had something to take the old pulley off as well but he told me it would mess up the pulley. So I opted for the pulley puller.

yea my friend will help me too... he works for brogan cadillac but they dont work on chevorlets... anyways he has a 3 jaw pulley puller and i dont have money to buy the ZZP one so i am just going to use the 3 jaw idc about the stock one if anything ill just buy a stock sized pulley from billetflow. I mean why would i want to put the stock one back on anyways

You would want to keep the stock pulley just incase something breaks, you could put the pulley back on. Technically though, this is illegal. It's fraud. However it's good to have....Even if you don't want to keep the stock pulley, you could always sell it on ebay for like an extra $30-40 bucks.
