I wouldn't think that a catted downpipe should throw a code. Have you contacted ZZP?

and if u need it gone quick u can disconnect/reconnect ur battery and it might go away for a while.

Reason CEL popped up is because its a high-flow cat, and the computer isnt recognizing the extra air flow, thus the CEL.

funny this thread popped up, my car is currently at the shop, being inspected, i have zzp's catted dp as well, and yes it threw the code, i cleared the code using my interceptor and sent it to get inspected, but supposedly they still found something in the cars computer, not exactly sure what all went on, the mechanic spoke with my dad and all he said was that there was a problem lol, anyone have any suggestions? my cel is gone but yet they still found something

Washers can sometimes help get rid of the code.

Just becauuse you cleared the code doesn't mean that the monitors are set. Install the defouler and drive it for a bit.

^ This. My zzp cat did the same thing. I got my car programmed and got that code deleted, so I don't have to look at it.

X2. It takes 3 full cycles for the monitors to set. If you cleared it right before then they still saw it
