Use a piece of 2x4 to chock it?

But seriously...check the cable/adjust if necessary. That's the most likely problem.

no i think a spring snapped but idk how to get 2 it. i really dont want to rip everything up in the center to get to it if i dont have to

The ratchet mechanism is made of plastic and has been known to fail if too much force is put on it... especially in the SS models.

I suggest taking it to the dealership or replacing it yourself. If you take it to a dealership though, they won't let you drive it until fixed though due to safety issues.
