I just got denied for my inspection because of my HID's. I completely forgot that I don't have high beams anymore. What did all the other guys with HID's Do?

i am surprized they didnt fail you for misaimed lights because those "hid kits" are not made for our cars and they produce a very bad glare.

only projector HID's have true high beams. Those are called Bi-xenon HID Projectors and an actualy motor moves the beam cutoff so that they don't have a cut off. without projectors and with HID lights the beam you have is the same as a projectors high beam.

i have the plug and play kit, yes it is aimed, no it does not produce as much glare as you would imagine
my HID kit replaced the low beams, and eliminated the high beams, it is not a bi-xenon kit

in NY you need high and low beams, which is why I'm stuck, I just have to put in normal bulbs for a day

have someone drive toward you on the road with your car and see if there is no glare....there is a guy by me with a cobalt w/ the plug and play hid s and the glare is like looking straight into the freakin housing when its on.
