Isnt that a bit lean for these motors? I thought the LSJ should be tuned to be around 11.8 or so

When I had my car tuned it was getting knock above 11.8 at wot, and I've got essentially the same mods as he does. I surely hope that isn't his true A/F.

I talked to the company that did the dyno and they said theat we are going to actually hook it up to a wideband, but i was curious......we hooked up a scanner to it and noticed that the ECU is pulling 20% fuel to maintain the 14/1 AF could this be that when it was tuned something was not done right? I also get DTC codes for long term injector trim rich "p0172" thats when it pulls the 20%....any ideas?

i would baby that thing until you get tuned.
your lucky you havent popped the motor already with those AFRs.

Stoich...for the 2.0, actually any car to be exact is 14.7 to 1. The PCM on our cars will +/- fuel to maintin a round 14. This is why i asked how to eliminate the o2 readings because when the car a/f is at 12 the PCM thinks its rich "because of the o2 readings" so it throws a code and pulls the 20% fuel i mentioned earlier.

sounds like your car isnt going into PE, because those trims shouldnt be active when you go WOT.
eliminating the O2 readings is NOT something you wanna do.
