Does it really matter which one is better? Either way acura is gonna stop making the rsx, yet another 200hp car to bite the dust (i.e. the srt-4)

"Bite the dust???"

The SRT-4 is still continuing and it will still be putting a hurting on the SS/SCs. Besides the Corvette and trucks/SUVs, Chevy(and GM) is many many steps behind the competition. Hell Acura's new turboed K23 SUV will probably give the SS/SC a run.

not stock it won't--weighs like 3900+lbs!

My wifes Saturn Vue can beat that and the Mazda CX7.

So not even a worry for a 2.4L SS

I can't wait to trade this thing in when i have some free cash. Maybe i'll get a new GTI or used 3 series. Drove those two the other day and was surprised that other cars could feel so ******* differnt to my cobalt.

I consider 2-dr and 4-dr separate trims...they're using it as a basis of comparison, especially when the Si will offer 4 doors this year anyway.

The new SRT-4 is nothing to worry about, so why mention it?

The HP increase isn't enough to overcome the weight increase. So basically now it's just an even uglier 4 door.

The srt-4 is bye bye, it will no longer be the car we once new it to be, which was a neon with turboed engine. I did like the srt-4 a lot though, at one time i wanted to get it. But let's face the facts, it's gone. They killed it and put a mini suv in its place, what a shame. I'll miss you srt-4, hopefully you'll ride forever into the sunset and a stage 2 ss s/c blows right past you!!!

60hp (rated) will overcome 200lbs to make them faster. Plus they are putting better tires(wider/taller) and better suspension on the new SRT-4s. So basically the new SRT-4 will still put a hurting on a stock SS/SCs same as the old SRT-4s.

Quicksilver this comment is for you also. I wouldn't talk **** about a "mini SUV" that will put a hurting on my car.

And you drive a freaking Cobalt, what is your point? Read some previous posts to find out what I "drive".

The new Caliber will beat your car just because of the shopping cart handle screwed on to your trunk.

Isn't Kansas considered the mid-west? So not only can you barely read, but you didn't pass geography either? "good ole'" Bronx education.

Well kansas city is in the state of missouri not kansas which is right above arkansas and to the left of the state of kansas so its pretty close to the south to me. You can put it in the mid west if you want, but it's pretty southern to me.

Then why would you buy the Cobalt in the first place....I mean did you test drive it beofre you drove it?
Did you do all the check ups any smart buyer would do?
For instance, making sure you like the car before you buy a car you're just gonna go on forums to rag on.
I doubt you even have a Cobalt, let alone a Cobalt SS/SC.
And if you do....I've never seen someone spend so much money on buying something they hate. It's kinda stupid if you think about it.
