I know its a harsh reality, but i don't know how well you will do against this guy stock like you are if he has a type r I-6 like I think he does. And if I remember correctly, those things run stock 195-210hp; and it doesn't sound like he is stock.

what moter does it got i can beat my cuz and im all stock and he gots a b20 swap in a 92civic hatch and i was scared to race him cause he was beating alot of cars and other hondas with v-tech and he aint v-tech so if your ss/sc you should have no problems, or the problem could be you !

Well.. we'll see what his computer really does to the car... i already beat him without the computer and wither the computer.... but the coil was f'ed up soo... maybe they are just b.s ing me so i back out... the STRICTLY HONDA crew is well... nevermind hahahahah

depending on what computer it is it could give him up to 25-75 more hp i have respect for hondas some of the fastest one are here in colorado and if it is a mugen or i tuned hondata it could extend the rev limitter and allow the v-tech to kick on sooner harder and allow it to stay on between shifts un like others it a nice trick some guys pull here so just watch it .

As for what computer he has? I do not know... i did hear from him that it was a piggy back... meaning its got a chip ontop of a chip so idk... supposedly its "special" haha ricers...

Dude, just pull out the visa, and buy a stage kit. If he is barley losing to you i really doubt he has something other than a b series. most of the honda people dont waste thier time swapping single cam's, ZC's, or non vtec motors into cars. Its a waste of money.

I do like Hondas, but that isnt the point. I have respect for any car that can hold its own. And Honda's can be beasts, its just shitty that everyone feels an extra sting from a Honda lose becuase there is some sort of stigma about them because of "ricers". You should be proud that a fellow automotive enthusiast put his time, effort & passion into his car just as you do into yours and stop looking at it as; "all Hondas are slow, OMG how could i not layith the great Cobalt smackdown on him!?!?!"
I can't argue.. i kno theres a ton of honda's out there that are smoking fast... its just a personnal thing here... i kno his buddy and I don't really have a great past and he thinks hes all hot ****... so I would LOVE to whoop his a$$ in the race... its just personnal you wouldn't understand... and all the honda **** i hear from them just makes me laugh because the hondas they have arn't fast at all... and this is the only one thats actually pretty nice

I don't think we were testing our cars there( i think we were testing the drivers... we both had traction issues and run pretty close to eachother when we both hook up...)
Except for the computer tune he put in.. then we'll have to see...
But when we race with his old computer and stock tune we are close as long as we both have traction

I BEAT HIM!! HAHAHAHAH I beat him by half a car length or more.... it was def. an awesome race... first we couldn't find a decent spot to do it... (he didn't wanna go up hill, which was barely a slop but w/e) but we did anyway... I raced him on EMPTY. Thats it no weight reduction or anything... He said he wants to race again sometime later and see what happens... on level strip... so for that race i'll see about guting my interior....

Geez....lol....There will always be a faster car than the one you have. just keep that in mind. Even if the logo is an "H" on the hood.
