how can we safely wash our engines

hah that doesn't make a difference, cuz your still spraying it after scrubbing it down and your still keeping the engine running when spraying. (Never said it had to be a power washer)

Just make sure the engine is not hot- you can crack the block with hose water if it is. Do not spray the fuse box directly and stay away from the airbox. If you have aftermarket intake, cover it with a plastic bag before cleaning the engine.

we always wash ours with the car running. always watch for a CAI filter , make sure not to get any water in or on it. we also use engine degreaser. watch the spark plugs and fuse box.
we havent had any problems.
