How come..........?

When looking for the car value, why when you go to kelly blue book or NADA websites do they not have the G85 (limited slip) not in the options? It lists all the options from side airbags, premium sound, and premium rims, but no G85. It's the most expensive option of all and it's not listed. This is one option that most people want and makes the car that much better. When your trading the car in, do dealerships even care if it has the limited slip option?

Just weird. You would think that they include the best option of all. I went to the dealership and they were appraising my car and they never asked me if it had the limited slip. I will say that it was a chevy dealership and they had no idea what i was talking about. I know they can be stupid sometimes but how can you leave that out?

Wouldn't it be listed as "Limited Slip Differential" instead of the actual package?

I thought NADA did have a 'performance package' option or something like that. Could be wrong. Check on other model years possibly as well?

EDIT - Yes, NADA does. It adds $500 on an 06, and $600 on an 07 (perhaps fewer made?), however is not an item for the 05.

Well, if there's something they're missing then maybe somebody should let them know about the details. It'll help them do their job and it'll help some of us with resale values later on down the line. *Cough* (For getting a TC)

Seriously though, it might help for them to know if there's something that they need to know about and don't.
