How do you take off front plate and bracket?

Hello! It's me again!

I just got in my 2007 Lazer Blue SS in today. I already took off the dealership badges, but I was wondering how to take off the front plate and bracket. I am a newbie at this kind of stuff.

Oh, and I didn't know what category to put this in...so any moderators can move this to the appropiate one as they see fit.

it might be held on with rivets, which means you'll have to drill them out.

it is riveted on there, you have to drill out the rivets... it will leave 3 ~1/4in holes tho...

Yep. It's rivited on. I know it will leave holes when I drill it out, but I'll have to get plugs to put in the holes and paint them up body colour. That would work...right?

Oh. As for where I live in Canada... Ontario.

It's just an SS. I have my own reasons for not getting the SC.

Thanks guys!

huh, i thought ontario needed front plates? i guess you'd know better than me tho.

and they are riveted, they will leave three quarter inch holes. You can plug them somehow, at work we use this stuff called FUSOR. But if you use this but there will be some bodywork to smooth it and re-paint it.

or you can tell people that they are speed holes, they make the car go faster!

good luck!

Yeah! Speed holes! Might as well put 50" rims on there too and a huge chicken wing too! That'll make it like an F1 race car!

Okay. Thanks for the info!
