Sorry man, that question is way to vauge. 69 and 68 Camaros were very close to the same. Anyways, a stock one or a restored Camaro from 68 or 69 depending on if it is a RS, SS, or just plane jane will run anywhere from 15 seconds to maybe high 13s. High 13 is pushing it for a stock one. Now once they get some work to them some 69 or 68 Camaros can run 12s, 11s, 10s, and with some major work 9s, 8,s and even 7 second 1/4th mile times.

It depends on what type of drive train set up it has. I have a 69 Camaro with a 383, Turbo 350 trans, and 3:73 gears, My best 1/4 mile time is a 11.39. (on Drag Radials)

Well, if it has a 454 big block I'm guessing it has some nice work done. Still not enough info though. If I had to guess, I would guess he would run around 10-12 seconds with a nice big block set up.

Here is what I've found with muscle cars. It's really it's all about tires with these old cars. If it has 1960s era original tires it's not fast, if it has modern tires on it, you're screwed. The guy that works in the office behind me has a GTX that he has the original tires for show on there and I will roast him. However, when he's on a cruise or whatever he puts some modern tires on there and he easily walks me. It's a totally different car.

btw the way to tell if it is a 68 or a 69 is in the tail lights. the 68 has 2 split on each side and the 69 has 3 on each side. the 67 and 68 are the same except the vent-wing window on the 67

I raced a orange camaro, from what I believe was a 69, because he had a full black grill. I he was by my rear tire when i was a 1/4 way thru third. My guess is that it was completely stock or something.

my friend has a 69 camaro that he says will run mid 13s. i went down to the berlin turnpike a few weeks ago and raced him from a dig. i beat him up to like 50mph but thats only because he was having badddd ignition problems. otherwise he wouldve smoked me any day (yes i do know it). those cars are badass, its awesome, we go out and everybodys driving a riced up civic, and hes the only one there with a real muscle car

Yeah I was just saying to myself after reading this thread "wouldn't be sweet to have some ricebox honda that could take out an American icon?"
I'm of course being sarcastic, no matter how fast the honda, it will never be what a classic Camaro is.

Not all, just those with the RS grill.
69 Camaro has the vents in the rear 1/4 panel and no vent windows.
68 Camaro has no vents on its rear 1/4 panel and no vent windows.
67 Camaro has no vents on the rear 1/4 panel and is the only year to have vent windows. Also 1967 was the only year to have no side markers either. Side marker law didn't go in effect till 1968. And as you can see not all 67 Maro's had hideaways.
