How to make a relay harness

I bought a DDM kit and it didn't come with a harness and rather than buy one I'd like to try and make one.
I'm tired of the flickering at startup because I don't have a relay harness.
The HID NEWB (me) Crash Course has all kinds of broken links and deleted pics.
I'm terrible at wiring but if I see a good diagram with labels I can figure it out.
I have 2nd gen headlights(H7) and the only diagrams I've found are for stock lights(9007). The mixing of H7 lights with the factory 9007 harness has me confused about what I should be doing as far as a harness is concerned. Any help is appreciated.
If someone can tell me "connect this wire to this with one of these...etc" (read: dumb it down) that would be fantastic.

Bump

butttt... that doesnt mean that you shouldnt get relays. i was running hids in my lows and fogs for almost 2 years, i had to replace the headlight connectors and when i cut the factory side wiring to solder the new connectors on, i noticed that half of the wiring was black, as in burnt and it goes through all of the wiring.. im sorry i didnt use the relays when i first got my hids. if i were you though, i would just spend the 15-20 bucks and get yourself a relay.

is this the type of harness i would use?

I'm guessing that pins 85 and 86 would connect to the factory harness where these do now?

Is that right? If so which one(blue or yellow) is the positive and which is negative.
If that's not right then I'm lost.

here: buy this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/H1-H7...Q5fAccessories

yeah, its from ebay but this is where i bought my relays from and they work perfectly. on the bottom of the page theres install instructions, theyre pretty straight forward and when you get the relay and actually lay it down, youll find out how easy it is. and if your still lost, here ya go : ) http://www.carhidkits.com/index.php?...on_guide#relay
