How many miles is to much?

How many miles is to much?

My friend is looking at a redline. It has 86,000 miles. Is that to many miles to buy it with and start modding with?

No as long as it hasn't been beat to hell. Take the car up to highway speed and floor it in 5th. See if the clutch slips. Service records etc should be looked at.

Also, if you are really paranoid, do a compression test.

If the car was well taken care of no, it will really depends on a lot of different factors. When these motors are well taken care of they will last and take modding well.

There are two tests to do if I'm correct. A leak test and compression test. That is what I've read in another thread earlier.
I'm at 120 000km and going strong with a TVS
