yea my dad has a 2004 coupe that he bought new (mid life crisis toy ) and now it has just over 10k on it and i've only driven it once right after i turned 21 over 1.5 years ago. i'll tell ya that gave me the itch to get one bad, it's just a tough call to spend like 20 grand for a vette when i could have a truck for that which is more practical right now for me.

I most certainly do have an SS. That is the best part about the car: you can ROMP on it every day and still get 28mpg with mixed driving.

Word, all this summer I was getting 25 mpg in the city. That's with the occasional spirited driving. I'm sure the K&N i plan to put on in the spring will help that cause as well. 35 highway mpg ain't so bad either. These cars have very good performance to fuel economy ratios.

I've thought about selling mine a few times, but she is not payed off. Currently, I'm working at having the car payed off by the end of the year and then just taking the money I was spending on my car payment and placing that in my savings account. I'll see how long she lasts me dependably. The day I feel the car is a burden is the day that I will look at selling her. Shoot! I might just part the car out and keep what I want (engine and tranny). I've even thought about driving the car around and parting it out while I drive it. You know start with the interior, move to the grill, ac, power steering, front bumper. Things might get a little hairy once we get to the doors and glass!

I think about trading it in every day now after attending an auto show this weekend. I've been thinking about getting a new Mazdaspeed 3 or a Lexus CT200h.

I'm leering towards the Lexus CT200h. The interior is so much nicer, I don't even care how slow it is lol.

The Cobalt has been a dependable car and even thought of modding it but I think it's time to move on...

gas about to be 4.00+ again come summer... time to remember why i bought a SS again, good gas mileage and did I mention 4.00 dollars... don't got time to be spending 60 bucks for half or little over half for gas..... trading in a v-8 caddy for a turbo 4 banger that i'm not selling unless cadillac gives me a cts-v wagon. then I won't care about gas because I will drive real slow just to make people mad, hahaha...... like old people do in those high end sport cars that need to be on a track somewhere....

I only owe like $5k more on mine. It's an 08 with 28k miles so I'm gonna pay it off next year.. probably go a year and a winter saving up money (no more 350 a month payment ) Then just gonna keep it as a daily and get something nicer. It will make a perfect daily. Good gas mileage, and with just a tune and a few other small mods fast enough to keep up with all the ricers and **** that like to mess around lol. DEFINITELY getting something RWD or AWD next though.

nah i love my car too much, had it only a year... but love it as much if not more than the day i got it.

happy camper right here, right now, just wish i could relieve a few little issues like the car bogging when i hit the clutch in neutral (gets annoying in stop + go) and meh yea my interor was made of plastic and i think they forgot to add any sort of padding between panels so every bump = rattle but its all good lol

Once in awhile but its paid off, gets good mileage, and hasn't had any problems. So I'm keeping it.

Not me, I love my red SS/TC. No other car I would want really. I get good gas mileage, the power is great and its cheap. My wife has the 4door gas getter. However, I do have my eye on the Dart SRT4 if it ever comes out. but ill more than likely keep the balt till its paid off or falling apart.

I've had many choices:

F-150 reg cab with the 5.0, Ram reg cab with a Hemi, and the unique choice, Hyundai Sonata SE 2.0t. Nothing wrong with performance and mileage, well the first time owning a Turbo.

But from what I owe ($9600) on a 2010 LT coupe in great and dependable shape (at 26k) i'd rather keep this car. Really no point burying more in dept for something you'd later regret. Remember, no matter what deal you get, you'd start over.

There are what, maybe 4 or 5 evo owners on this site? A lot of people say they want one but very few have done the switch so far

not necessarily trading it, I would like to get something else when its released and if I could keep my balt I would but I cannot do two payments. I am trying to sell the balt but not really pushing it. I love it to death and theres nothing wrong with it and its low mileage for an 07 but the car I have been in love with is finally heading to the states and I would kill for it.

I bet I'm the only poor bastard that went the other way, I'd kick my mother in the teeth if I could trade straight up for a EVO as clean as the one I traded.
