I hate diesels

Anyone here have problems with every damn Dodge or Ford truck tries to race them or about runs you off the road trying to race someone else? I cant just cruise for fun without having black smoke in my window or having a a bunch of redneck wannabes hanging out the window screaming crap at me.

yeah, big lifted trucks **** me off because they think they're the kings of the road... till you lose them in the twisties. diesels however are incredibly cool, and a dream project car of mine is a VW TDI Golf.

i know how you feel though... i live in hicksville, too, and a little riceburner isn't always accepted in the midst of diesel trucks.

i get it all the time here in utah. i dont know about elsewhere in the country, but here it is the cool thing to buy a big expensive diesel whether you need it or not (some do for work). everyone and their damn dog has to have a diesel and yes, it's annoying. dont sweat the guys that suffer from small-ball syndrome and have to have a big truck to fit their pants right. i laugh at them cuz i pay 1/4 what they do to license and fuel my car.

I have noticed an increase in rednecks with FAST diesels in my area also. It's an infection! I must admit though, a modded diesel with stacks and a lift cracking 1.5 60fts is pretty f#@king impressive!

Lol stickers are photoshopped on there. I NEVER have people try to race me. If anyone tries to race me its either a big truck, mustang, or some person in their grandma's 4 door.

Yea they are quick, I just wish they would show some respect to others at least. Seems like soon as a person gets in a big truck they own the road. I'm about to give my car a 24" lift so I can join em . They do make an ecotec diesel that be a interesting swap.

There is a 80 something monte carlo in my town that sits on at least 24" rims that swear sits as high as my 87 silverado 4x4.

Speaking of that, my dad emailed me this picture the other day. sexy

Yeah, UT blows. I'm so sick of this state and the people in it. I can't wait to move when I get out of the Air Force. Everyone and their brother has a lifted diesel truck. Guess it's the cool thing to do, like SUV's were, a few years ago. SUV and lifted-truck drivers here drive like ass, they go 20mph over and practically run everyone off the road. I know what you mean: it costed me 27 dollars to license my car in utah by bringing in a military LES, and 35 dollars to fill my tank. Not to mention, i completely lose them in a canyon. Guess I"ve got the last laugh.

yeah it's the same way here **rolls eyes @ speeders**, sucks *****. People just don't care these days about safety or the written law. The town I grew up in, 1mph over would get you ticketed. Always makes me wonder what the state troopers are actually doing all day LOL
