well i think that given the ammount of time these cars have been out we do have a good ammount of products available to us. there have been other cars that takes alot longer to get parts for so im overall happy with the progress of the aftermarket for us, although i am surprised that new tailights and headlights havent been made availabe yet.
also this is my 1000th post, horay lol

well for the price you are expecting u might wanna reconsider what you are doing, for a non tuned cheap turbo set up with install no gauges or anything, u might get away with $3500, and thats only a maybe so if thats too much for you then its time to abandon...

just think about it, if you want a fast car the 2.2 is a great start its basically got a biblt telling you how to make it really fast, gm has these cars up over 1000 hp, the 5k it takes to get that turbo in and tuned would be worth every penny to you after you feel its power...

It's not exactly the best to buy a LS and have plans to turbo it if you can't afford to upgrade the rest of the car. The Cobalt SS was designed to be safer with its superior suspension and braking systems where as the LS just has an economy engine with an economy suspension and braking package. If you wanted a quick Cobalt, you should of spent the extra money on the Cobalt SS - because what's power without control? That's the main reason why you see all these tards dying street racing. But if your life is worth saving a few bucks, that's fine - just stay the hell away from my car when you feel like acting like an idiot.

i agree to a point i mean if you are gonna get into the car modding game then you gotta expect to lay down some major cash on parts. im not rich by any means but with hard work and putting in lots of overtime at work plus income tax i have spent a good $1500.00 on my car and ive only had it for almost 2 months and i have $1600 in savings for the turbo , do it right and youll be happy.

Money is not an issue. Im only 19 but i make like 40,000 a year. Its just the fact that i think my money would be better spent in other places. I am not trying to have a 9 second car. my goal with my cobalt was just 225-300. anywhere in there and i would be happy.
I think i rather sink 5k into appearance then into JUST a turbo. i was looking to put more like 3000 ( in the end) with the turbo. but if the turbo cost 3500 and another 600 to install and another 1000 for other upgrades. its just not worth it to me. Just like it wasnt worth paying 28000 (after financing) for an SS. i rather just wait and get my G35.
.
With the way my pay structure is set up i get bonuses on the 30th of every month. december-february are the best months. January being the best, simply because i get a big ass bonus from my december sales and my taxe return ( i have a daughter ) Combined its going to be around 8000. But im not one to squander money. If i could get a turbo set up that came with the basics to run the turbo safely at 5psi ( for around 2000) or soemthing like that and i could upgrade it in future months i would be more inclined to buy it then being forced to buy the stage 3 for 3500.

FLCobalt, I am just curious as to why you think pacesetter is an inferior product? Is it just because their products cost less than others or have you had a bad experience with their products?
