I have the worst luck ever....

Ok let me set the scene for you....got into my car to go to my girlfriends foot ball game.. shes a cheerleader not a football player... i go out and start my car. forgot somehting in my house.. turned off my car put the ebrake on all the way up and ran in to get it, i run out to my driveway again and im like.. where did my car go, i had a total brain fart.. than it hit me and i found it.... rolled down my hill into my neighbors pool.. the tow truck is on the way as we speak








so im pissed, but now i can get a bumper off an ss/sc....

Oops. Time to get that parking brake adjusted. Might talk to the dealer and see if they will do anything about it since it was their lack of proper adjustment that caused the car to roll away.

yeah dude ask your dealer about this faulty ebrake man. dunno if there's a way they can tell if it was properly put up all the way but at least try.
Was the ebrake still up & showing locked when you saw it "parked" so to say against your neighbors pool?

My Cobalt rolled down the driveway once. It's not fun coming out of your house and seeing your car parked in the middle of the street. I always leave my car in gear when parking on inclines now.

yeahh.. the dmg isnt bad at all actually, i do need a new bumper though, i am very ****.... but the mudflap needs to go now and yes i will be getting the ss/sc front bumper and lip so thats a plus.. but not for a while, being my parents thinks its smart to wait untill after the winter..

:-) lol ohh yeah lol its awesome nice and flexable..lol now this thread is going to qickly change lol but i dont even need to buy my neighbor any new plants.. hes a wierd plant guy and he says they should all grow back in the spring lol so im just going to need a bumper.. which is still going to cost me like a billion dollars lol

DAMN! You got LUCKY!!!! Hell yeah, I always leave mine in gear just for that specific reason... Our E brakes do suck thou.. I have a ton of slack in mine...I need to have it adjusted.

lol ya i did that once in my cavy, go in the store to buy some smokes and come out and some guys getting out of my car in the middle of the street talkin about how he saved it from rolling to the highway 8 feet away . was like damn!!

that sucks. i had the same thing happen to mine but it rolled down hill through the parking garage at work and hit my government car, luckily the government payed the bill on that one.

My friend did that in his ranger but the door was open and it rolled back and the door got caught on a fence. The door needed to be replaced.

dude wheres my car?? that would suck its cool that your neighbors wernt dicks, mine would prolly try and make me pay for plants and grass, but how bad is the damage to the car, like axle wise would that drop hurt the undercarage and stuff or not
